Payment can be made by cash, debit and most credit cards.
Children under the age of 16, pensioners and current health care card holders are bulk-billed.
An integrated software system is in place which enables you to claim your rebate at the time of payment. If you have registered your bank details with Medicare, then the rebate will be paid into your account within 24 hours.
