A single consultation time is 15 minutes. Longer consultation times can be arranged. It is important to inform my receptionists if you require extra time to discuss multiple issues.

Home visits are available for regular patients of the practice whose condition prevents them from attending the surgery and who live in the inner city.
Home visits are fitted into standard opening hours, usually mid afternoon.
I may be contacted during surgery open hours. If I am with a patient a written message will be taken. At a later time I will return your call, or instruct my receptionist to do so.
Full consultations cannot be undertaken over the phone.
For all test results, unless otherwise arranged with me, patients need to make an appointment. In the case of significant results, I will contact the patient and either discuss these over the phone or arrange for an appointment.
Repeat prescriptions collected at the front desk are charged a fee of $10. This includes Veterans Affairs, pensioners and HCC cardholders and children.
Alternatively, paying patients and bulk-billed patients can take a seat in the waiting room and can be fitted in as a brief "script only" consultation.
This practice strictly follows the NSW Dept of Health guidelines concerning the prescribing of addictive drugs e.g. sedatives, strong analgesics and narcotics. Consequently, such drugs will only be prescribed for patients known to me.
Recalls are sent by mail for preventative medicine, for example, for pre-diabetes and for childhood vaccinations. Reminders are also sent by mail for overdue tests, treatments and specialist referrals.
Medical Certificates are legal documents, so I must see the patient in order to issue one. The completion of all forms also requires an appointment.
